Boxun reports that a student on summer break shot this video of prostitution in Tibet's second largest city of Shigatse. It is estimated that there are thousands of prostitutes working in the city. Prior to the opening of Tibet for tourism 25 years ago, there was no prostitution in this deeply religious region. On Sichuan Road the prostitutes are Chinese, mostly from Sichuan Province.
