Boxun 's Exclusive Report---

Julie Harms, a graduate of the world's famous Harvard University, never thought about succumbing to China's judicial system.

Harms planned to marry her fiance, Liu Shi Liang, whom she dated for 9 years in 2007. However, a series of accidents and an impeachment of Liu delayed the wedding.

In February 2008, Liu was accused of "unlawful intrusion into residence" by his neighbor whose relative was a police officer. Although there were evidences showing Liu was innocent, he was still taken into custody in June 2008.

Harms began to call herself a petitioner after Liu was arrested.

For 5 months, Harms has visited every judicial agency to prove her fiance is being wronged. She has almost exhausted all options and has nearly failed to challenge China's judicial system.

As President Obama is closing in, Harms' efforts and attempts might not be in vain base on the fact that both of them were Harvard alumni.

Fate has made a joke of turning one into the president of United States and the other one into a petitioner in China.
