Beijing Adopts New Restrictive Measures Against International and Domestic Media

Boxun reports that China's General Administration of Press and Publication is compiling a journalist "blacklist"--scribes critical of party policies who will be prevented from publishing anywhere in the mainland. This violates China's existing laws and regulations. In addition, Beijing has issued new restrictions on Chinese assistants of foreign reporters working on the Mainland. They will henceforth be prevented from independent reporting and receiving bylines.
