Haerbin Petitioner Has Spent 12 years Fighting For Property Right

Zhao's property, a piece of land he planned to invest for business purposes, was accroached, and Zhao struggled fighting against the illegal action. However, 12 years of petition journey has given Zhao Jing Zhou 12 invalid verdicts.

Realizing "China's legal system is just a game," Zhao began revising songs and poerties to not only express grievances on unfairness of China's legal system, but also expose the unlawful suppression actions taken by the government.

Zhao decided to set himself on fire on April 24, 2003. The buring wounds that left on his body marked his determination in defending human rights.
