More than 100 drown in a shopping center

A heavy rain on July 18 might killed about 200 in the lower level of a shopping center, but officially reported 34 by Xinhua. The official report released on July 21 does not mention where the people are killed.

The witness posted their experience on Internet, it shows that there are as many as 200 deaths. The lower level of a shopping center was flooded and the escape gates were locked. By July 21, the water was not pumped out completely, but witness said more than 100 bodies have been found, more should be expected inside.

JiNan is the capital city of ShanDong Province, a week ago, a car bomb killed at least five. It was reported (officially) to be an assassination planned by the chairman of People's Congress of JiNan who was arrested after the explosion. The bomb was planned on a special car with police license plate, the owner of the car was a pretty lady in her 30's who was the chairman's mistress, she was promoted to be a government official from a waitress by the chairman. The lady was killed immediately in the explosion.
