Tiananmen Military Crackdown Victim and Amputee Qi Zhiyong Prevented From Meeting Foreign Reporter

Boxun reports that on Thursday April 23, Tiananmen military crackdown victim and amputee Qi Zhiyong went out at noon on the way to an interview with a foreign reporter when he was intercepted by a police car and informed "In accordance with orders from higher authorities, you are forbidden from leaving your home today...."

Qi was put into the police car, and the foreign reporter was shadowed by plainclothes police while waiting for Qi, who of course never arrived.
