This website's volunteer today communicated with Guizhou Province, "Weng'an Incident" private investigator Mr. Chen Xi. Chen is under 24 hour surveillance and house arrest. In the morning when he goes out to run he is followed by two officers who run along with him. Also last Friday he was once again summoned to court by the Guiyang Police and interrogated for four hours. He was asked if his investigation team has any other members? Are people again planning to travel to Weng'an to continue their investigation? Or are there still people in Weng'an investigating? When finished the police told Chen Xi that their probe of his investigation team was not over and that they would be summoning him to court again and that they intended to punish Chen Xi for his fact-finding actions. To this Chen Xi responded: "I am ready to return to jail at any time."

In the riot of Weng'an, angered students burned the police building and dozens of police cars after a middle school female student found dead in the river. The dead was invited out in the night by three others, the family insisted that the girl was raped and murdered. But the police released the suspects and did not want to investigate. After the riots, government has tightened reports on this incidents. The victim's family cannot be reached by media, but offical news reported the suspects' speech many times.
