Boxun reports that in early June, three women who had been staging a sit-in at the Jilin Province Public Security Petition Office requesting a meeting with a leader, became so frustrated that they staged this naked protest. Their complaint involves unjust treatment at the hands of grassroots officials. The women were taken into custody for their action. Due to the ineffectiveness of the visits and petition system, the women have no choice but to take their problem to the Public Security Ministry in Beijing.
