Boxun reports that on Friday July 3 at 6 a.m., the Shanxi Province capital city of Taiyuan government abused its public trust in deploying more than 100 police and soldiers and fire trucks in carrying out a forced eviction and demolition.

The eviction and demolition was carried out with no legal paperwork and no advance notice. Angry observers questioned what the difference was between this government action and bandits who seized people's land as they pleased before the Communist revolution.

Those evicted had lodged a complaint with the municipal court, but the court refused to accept the suit or rule on it. This could only mean that the municipal Communist Party committee had already decided that the eviction was to be carried out and the court dares not disobey this.Ç
