On December 14, the attorney C Mr. Mo Shaoping met SUN in the detaining center of Nanjing. SUN denied two charges C Own weapons illegally and disturb social order.

The police has submitted a "request for trial" to Procuratorate with the two charges.

SUN said police explicitly told SUN that his arrest is because of his reporting activity. The police told SUN to stop reporting, but SUN told them that his reporting activities are the right thing, he sent the report to Boxun because media in China would not publish them.

SUN's wife HE Fang is charged with "Help SUN to plan disturbing social order". HE was arrested under the "crime" name "conceal explosives illegally". The charge indicates that the police arrested her first, then find the "crime".

The "weapon" refers to a few air-guns used in sport, none of them were found in SUN's home. Those own the guns "admitted" to police that SUN gave the gun to them. But at least one of them has never met SUN, SUN does not know him at all.

The "disturb social order" charge refers to an incident in 2004. SUN was asked to help to facilitate a relocation dispute. SUN said that media and police were on the scene, he did nothing illegal.

If the Procuratorate thinks the "evidence" is enough, the trial should start within 45 days.
