On December 24, 2009, Boxun reporter saw a petitioner died on street. The reporter took the picture and video, then told another petitioner to call police. Our reporter cannot make the call as this may lead arrest of reporting.

Boxun's another reporter witnessed one death incident of petitioner, but he did not take the picture for religious reason.
Beijing is the coldest among the past 40 years with low 17 C/-1 F, hundreds of petitioners live on street, this challenges the limit of human beings. There are a few volunteer groups to give clothes and food to the petitioners, on the other side, government raids the petitioner's places from time to time, they wipe away petitioners living staff, including the quilt and "tent". (Boxun released many pictures and videos on these activities: http://news.boxun.com/news/gb/china/2009/11/200911220048.shtml)
