New Law Will Punish Lawyers for What They Say in Court

According to Xu Xiang, the new amendment to Lawer' s Law will prohibit lawyers to express opinions that " threaten state security, defame others and disturb court order" . This amendment was passed on October 28.

This is the first time that China passed a law to probihit lawyers' expression in the court.
