Boxun reports that regional airports and airliners have been commandeered in transporting 14,000 paramilitary police officers and troops from Jiangsu, Henan and Fujian provinces to Xinjiang following last week's violent uprising.

A correspondent in Shanghai's Hongqiao Airport confirmed that flights were cancelled while the military deployment took place.
