Farmers tried to protect their land: bloody crash down

JiangJia Cun, Guilin, GuangXi: Janurary 19, 2010, farmers tried to protect their land, but hundreds of police attacked them with dogs, gas, dozens of villagers injured. After the tragedy, police continued to arrest those injured farmers from home and hospital. This incident has been covered up totally in China.



There are a few similar incidents in Guilin, Guangxi. On Janurary 12, a conflict between police and farmers caused at least one death.(http://news.boxun.com/news/gb/china/2010/01/201001141305.shtml) The official news says farmers used violence illegally. Source told Boxun that large number of police are still in the village to press farmers down.
