Boxun reporter Jie Mu is arrested

Jie Mu ang his wife He Fang were arrested during 6pm to 7 pm by a group of plain-clothes police. He Fang was released later, but Jie Mu is still not released by the time of this news release (10 pm, Beijing time).

On May 29, police raided Jie Mu¡¯s cafeteria downstairs that is mainly used for his employees. Police took everyone in the cafeteria to police station (about 20 people),  including cameraman¡¯s girlfriend who was visiting him. About 10 were released in early morning (1-2am) of May 30. Jie Mu interviewed those released on May 30: (Video1 - Video2)

In April, Jie Mu and Guang Yuan interviewed Zan Aizong, a former reporter of Chinese magazine and was laid off because of reporting sensitive issues (Video )

On May 17, Jie Mu went to demolition site of Yang Zhou to report the incident, building owners were preparing suicide on top of the building. (Video1- Video2)
On May 24, Jie Mu and Guang Yuan went to QinHuangDao in Hebei Province to interview a murder case's victim (Video1-Video2 )
On May 25, Jie Mu interviewed a lawsuit by an online NGO againt Beijing authority (Video)
In the afternoon of May 25, Jie Mu and Guang Yuan taped a conversation in Tiananmen Square, they talked about Boxun's application to Olympics. (Video)
